Western Red Cedar has good fastening properties but its natural
preservatives have a corrosive effect on some unprotected metals in
close contact, causing a black stain on the wood. Fasteners should
be corrosive resistant such as stainless steel or silicon bronze.


We currently stock 16 Guage Stainless steel nails for use in either
Paslode/Straight Nailer air guns or Dewalt/ Angled Nailer guns for
secret fixing our claddings. Available in either 38mm or 50mm lengths."
